ANOTHER X DESIGNERS

(how would the brand look if it were a person?”)

ROLE: CREATIVE DIRECTOR, RESEARCHER, PHOTOGRAPHER, RETOUCHER

BRIEF: The idea is to create an image of the brand in the form of portraiture of the person, where the signature aesthetics of the brand will be reflected through styling, makeup and set design during the photo shoots, describing the characteristics of the created persona.

Taking under consideration the brands such as Iris van Herpen, Thom Browne, Viktor & Rolf and Schiaparelli, the project will reflect the concept of creating the brand persona and the visualisation of these brands essence using fashion photography.

The project will aim into filling the market gap concerning the narrative-driven fashion editorials, which manifest artistic freedom and conceptual approach.

By conducting in depth-research based on analysing the aesthetics of the chosen brands, I managed to create the complex overview of each designer, highlighting their vision, values, colour palette and any other significant elements, which became crucial while working on developing their brand personas for the storytelling of my editorials.

By taking under consideration, the platform for the produced photographs, Another magazine became the ideal choice with the aesthetics of my editorials reflecting perfectly the publication’s vision of creating often bizarre and dreamy world for their readers, cherishing the true value of creativity. Based on highlighting the importance of storytelling as well as the promotion of the chosen brands, the editorials aim into improving the brands connection with their current customers, and perhaps expanding their target audience, through reviewing their aesthetics, which might effect their branding, simultaneously becoming more trustworthy and approachable on the market. Thus, the editorials are presented as a part of Another Loves section, focusing also on the designers’ products featured in them.
