BRANDING: SIMONE ROCHA
ROLE: Creative Director, App Designer, Researcher
BRIEF: The concept of the project was to research the chosen brand and conduct the precise analysis of its identity, expression, market, target audience and channel audit. Through this exploration, the gain was to find a gap in the brand’s output and propose the creative solution to improve its functioning on the market.

My brand was Simone Rocha, driven by art and personal approach to her designs and known for her Victorian aesthetics of modern femininity. Although the designer seems to establish already her signature look, I decided to question two aspects of Simone Rocha including its online presence that is weak in comparison to her competitors, and her perception of fashion as merging art with her personal experience which can make brand expression too versatile for her customers as well as lower the brand potential of widening its target audience.
Customer Profile Mood Boards
To improve the Simone Rocha online presence and make her aesthetics more consistent, I proposed the idea to create the exclusive app called “The Gallery of Simone Rocha” which reflects her art references. Divided on various sections, the platform will allow the brand to be more connected with its customers, creating the community where variety of contents, explaining Simone Rocha inspiration will be shared within, and well-developed e-commerce with virtual shopping experience will provide the customers an easy access to the designer’s pieces. The mock-up of the app was created with the use of software Adobe XD.

Brand Report
The important part of my project was also the creation of brand report, which reflects my findings and consists of crucial information describing Simone Rocha as a brand including its identity and expression with the focus on moving image and online appearance and social media platforms.
