fashion film "Utopia" Simone Rocha X Mind ORGANISATION
ROLE: Creative Director, Set Designer, Stylist, Filmmaker, Video Editor
BRIEF: The idea for the project was to analyse the brand of your choice in detail and present it visually in a form of short fashion film, according to the brand aesthetics. Producing this moving image aimed into proposing the creative solution to improve the brand positioning on the market.
The main purpose of the film is to accent even more the inclusivity of Simone Rocha brand through the first use of the male model in the video and her connection with the art, evident in her designs as well as through collaborating with different artists. By looking closer at Rocha's almost obsessive attachment to Louise Bourgeois's work, one of the primary pillars of the brand, the film is expected to bring more consistency into her inspirations aiming to create the possibility of widening the designer's target audience, simultaneously accenting her personal touch and artistic spirit.

The crucial part of preparations was definitely searching for the right props and clothing pieces to reflect Simone Rocha aesthetics. Thus to understand better the brand as well as ease the communication with makeup artist and models, I decided to create makeup, styling, props and poses mood boards.
Treatment
Apart from the fashion film, the important part of my project was also treatment presentation which gives the overview of the brand, in my case Simone Rocha, and describes my idea for moving image and its whole production process including the used equipment and editing techniques. When editing my behind the scenes, I wanted to tell the story through it to let my viewer understand my idea for the film and its whole preparation process. Thus I decided to add the short captions, each describing the filming scene or editing technique, giving the impression of the silent narrator’s presence.
